A classic black-and-white wedding day never goes out of style. For Megan VanVonderen and Joe Martin, their swanky summer soirée at Horseshoe Bay Golf Club effortlessly captured the beauty of timeless elegance. After sentimental vows and “I do’s” at their church ceremony in Baileys Harbor, Megan and Joe boarded a retro trolley with their wedding party to celebrate. As a cinematic touch, the newlyweds snuck off in Joe’s father’s vintage Cadillac convertible and took photos at the groom’s family’s house to soak up their first few moments as husband and wife alone before the reception festivities began. A custom martini cocktail cabinet with blue cheese olives on pearl skewers served as a warm welcome to the party. Cloth signage added a hint of softness and matched the chic white tent. Adhering to the theme, the tent was decorated with an abundance of white blooms, including peonies, the bride’s favorite. But perhaps the biggest showstopper of all was Megan’s stylish custom after-party dress. Loved ones danced the night away to the live band on the black-and-white check patterned dance floor beneath the soft glow of bowering chandeliers before a fireworks show lit up the sky
