Adam Tomcheck was a longtime friend of Isabella Nothstine’s twin brother, so the two had known each other for years. When they were teens, something clicked at a party; they became best friends, and later, high school sweethearts. Then they went their separate ways for college, with Adam in Milwaukee and Isabella in Chicago; but they were never far apart in each other’s heart and made a point to spend every weekend together. After a decade of romance, Adam proposed on a rainy weekend in Green Lake among family and friends. For their nuptials, Isabella wore a long-sleeved low-back gown. The day included a tribute to Isabella’s late father, as they opened a vintage 1993 bottle of wine (Isabella’s birth year), which her parents had bought 20 years ago, with the idea that their daughter would one day enjoy it at her wedding. And she did, with the love of her life.
