"We booked the Tinsmith for our September 2021 wedding back in May 2020 when they were still under construction. We took a leap of faith that this venue would be perfect, even though we didn't see the final product or have any previous wedding experiences/reviews to draw from. We are SO glad we did. Jess and Emily went above and beyond to help make sure our day was perfectly planned, and the staff executed everything perfectly. I would recommend The Tinsmith to any couples looking to get married in Madison. It's the best! The biggest draws for us were the convenience of the location (walkable from the capital square and close to many hotels for our guests), getting to bring in any caterer we wanted, and having ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all in one place with seamless transitions. "Thank you to Jessica and her entire staff at the Tinsmith for sharing your lovely venue with us for our daughter's wedding. When creating this event space, they considered so many details from the ambiance to the catering kitchen and back vendor hallway. The bridal room is a wonderful area to have during the event. Having a beautiful onsite ceremony space that then becomes the dance party is wonderful. Emily, the event manager, was a delight to work with and the bar staff during her wedding was professional and friendly. We received so many compliments on the look of the space and the flow of the event. I am so pleased my daughter and her financee (now wife) selected the Tinsmith to hold their wedding. "The Tinsmith was an absolutely perfect wedding venue for us and our 120 guests in November. We wanted somewhere well-located with enough space and with flexibility in the details, and this was by far the best option to meet all those criteria. We so adored the spaces for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing (and the easy flow between those spaces) and it was such a personalized wedding due to our ability to bring in our own catering, entertainment, and decor. I also loved the little bridal suite–we didn’t get ready there due to having a pretty big group of bridesmaids, but it was SO NICE to have my own bathroom to use during the reception, along with space to leave some stuff. It was also really nice to have the space to ourselves for the entire day, which made setup and teardown much easier. Jessica and Emily were both very patient with our loads of questions leading up to the big day, and our guests absolutely loved the venue. After the event, we had some miscommunication about the leftover wine we had purchased for dinner, and we really appreciate the Tinsmith team making it right by sending us a case of our wedding wine as a gift. It was a beautiful evening we’ll remember forever, and we’re so glad we found the Tinsmith during our initial search. We hope to attend more events there in the future!" - Angela Ginocchio
