Amid a sea of vibrant hues, unique textures and fragrant botanicals, Rebecca Reeves and Daniel Mckay said, “I do.” Despite her current residence of Seattle, as a born and raised Wisconsinite, Rebecca wanted to host their celebration back in her home state. Greenhouse No. 7 at the iconic Mitchell Park Domes was the perfect venue with its expansive views and ample natural light. Influenced by the elegant charm of a chic spring picnic, the couple, alongside Chloe McClure, lead planner with Light as a Feather Events, created an unforgettable bright bash beaming with bright colors and unexpected patterns. A floral-lined aisle played into the theme while pink draping and bridesmaids donning shades of vibrant green and yellow added an artistic flair. The juicy palette of peach, coral and chartreuse carried into the reception design, which featured patterned linens and bold napkins accented with wicker and rattan elements at each table. Lit candles and glowing chandeliers added a layer of warmth to the romantic ambience as Daniel and Rebecca had their first dance as husband and wife. From the first look to the last song, the Mckays’ lively fête evoked the essence of spring and flawlessly represented their relationship through joyful details.
