Back when Javan and I were planning our Wisconsin wedding, one of the first conversations we had was about how important it was to celebrate with our people. You know - the ones who had made us who we are, supported our relationship, and who we'd be lost without. We knew we wanted to prioritize loving on them, being fully present with them, and expressing gratitude toward them throughout the entire process.
Everything I do as a wedding photographer is with that in mind. I pride myself on know the right times to direct or pose, and the right times to step back - camera in hand, of course! That means that you get to be fully present. You get to feel the ground beneath your feet, kiss each other deeply, and soak in every precious memory with your most important people.
