Shortly after Michelle agreed to be his bride, Mike Nielson set about crafting the perfect brew for their wedding. “My husband is a hobby brewer, and his beer is such a huge part of our lives,” says Michelle Nielson. “To exclude it from our wedding would have been a disservice.”
Once the recipe was perfected, it was on to labels, a welcome challenge for the nearly-weds. After unsuccessful attempts to print their own, they eventually sent the project to online label resource Evermine, which allowed them to customize the design, color and wording of each label.
With labels in hand about 10 days before their August 2013 wedding, the couple convened a party of friends and attendants to label the 260 bottles of Mike’s home brew, a summery French Saison.
