Kelsey Swanson said there was an instant connection to her future husband, Devin Graf, when the two found each other on Tinder in 2017. Before their first date, they spent almost two weeks chatting on the dating app; after that, they were inseparable. Their love grew over the next three years, and Devin knew it was time to pop the question. An evening pontoon ride on White Potato Lake was the perfect place, with the couple’s parents nearby awaiting the inevitable celebration. As the golden hour approached, Devin, on bended knee, surprised Kelsey with an engagement ring Devin designed, featuring her mother’s diamond as the center stone. Afterward, they celebrated with champagne and a family bonfire by the lake, one of their favorite summer activities. The couple wed on a gorgeous autumn day with their godparents acting as ushers and readers at their Catholic Mass ceremony. At the Tinsmith, shades of maroon, dark linens, and candles made for a cozy ambience. Kelsey says there were no strangers by the end of the night, as everyone celebrated under the glow of the hanging Edison bulbs, followed by a full dance floor and an array of mini pies.
